Nuneaton needs more school places

Thursday, 10 August, 2017

The MP for Nuneaton, Marcus Jones, has met with the Schools Minister and also with representatives from Warwickshire County Council (the local education authority) to highlight the town’s need for more school places.

“I am concerned that with all of the new developments underway and planned for Nuneaton, there simply aren’t enough school places available for local children.

“It is important that plans are put in place now to meet the growing demand and I am urging the County Council and the Minister to speed up the provision so we aren’t faced with the problem of children without a local school to attend.”
