Local MP Marcus Jones has backed calls by leading UK meningitis charity, Meningitis Now, encouraging young people to protect themselves from a deadly strain of bacterial meningitis.

The proposals are made by the Boundary Commission who are independent of politics. The requirements of the review are to reduce the number of MPs from 650 to 600 and create more equal sized constituencies so that each MP represents a similar number of people principles which I fully support.
