Nuneaton MP, Marcus Jones today questioned where the £200,000 promised for Nuneaton and Bedworth town centres has been spent.

Marcus Jones, the MP for Nuneaton, welcomed the fact that unemployment in the constituency has been more than halved.

“There is still more to do but I am delighted that the latest figures show unemployment in Nuneaton now stands at 1,080 compared to 2,223 in October 2010.

New research has highlighted that having no heating or hot water would be the number one disaster for households this winter. Even so, many people in Nuneaton have not taken action to ensure their homes are winter-ready.
